Margaretha was a star mannequin for Jacques Fath and Christian Dior, but she wanted to accomplish more than walk the runway in other people‘s designs. She strived to be a fashion designer. 

Margaretha Ley, who was trained by the Royal Court Tailor Leja in Stockholm, worked as head designer at Mondi in her second career prior to becoming an entrepreneur and managing her husband‘s SRB knitwear factory in Munich.
